What kind of computer do I need?
The following requirements should be met:

Operating System:	Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP
Processor:	500 MHz Intel Pentium processor or equivalent
Monitor:	SVGA monitor at 800x600, 16 bit resolution

To hear any accompanying audio, you will also need a sound card and speakers.

How do I check my system settings?

To find the speed of your processor and how much RAM you have:	Click Start and go to "Settings." Select "Control Panel." In the window that appears, select the "System" icon. Under the appropriate tabs, you will find details about the operating system (OS), the speed of your processor and how much RAM you have.
To check the settings for your monitor:	Right-click on an empty space anywhere on the desktop. Click on "Properties." Select the tab titled "Settings." Under Colors" and "Screen Area" you will can check the settings for you monitor.

What about internet access?
You will need 56 Kbps modem or faster and an ISP (Internet Service Provider). A good resource for finding an ISP is http://thelist.internet.com.

Can I use any browser to access ETI Learn courses?
The ETI Learning Center requires Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. Netscape Navigator browsers

What is the Macromedia Shockwave Player?
The Shockwave Player displays web content in your browser. With the Shockwave Player, your browser can display animation, audio, and interactive course material. To download the Shockwave Player, click here.

What is Adobe Acrobat Reader?
Adobe Acrobat Reader lets you download, view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. In order to read assignments, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. To download Adobe Acrobat Reader, click here.
